Get to know our Team - Chelsea: Hygienist

If you’re a patient at our office, chances are, you’ve had the amazing privilege of meeting Chelsea already. She’s most likely the person that cleans your teeth several times a year. But if you’re not yet a patient or you’d like to learn more about who cleans your teeth, take a look at our new ongoing blog post series where we Get to know our Team.

Where are you from?

I grew up in Mukilteo. But now I live in Sammamish. PNW for life baby!!!

Where did you go to school?

I went to Clark College for Dental Hygiene School and received my bachelors degree from Pierce College

Tell us about your family?

I have a husband, Jason and two boys, Jack and Jordan. I also have an Australian Shephard named Ruby and 8 chickens :)

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I love being in the kitchen - creating recipes and entertaining. I also practice yoga, am always learning something new and structure my life around overall wellness.

What’s the favorite part of your job?

The process of gaining trust from fearful patients is amazing. Also, helping inspire patients to take control of their health by improving their homecare. And… before / after photos of deep cleanings are incredibly satisfying.

What’s your Favorite Food?

I love fish and anything chocolate

Favorite place to travel?

Europe - France specifically

What’s your bucket list trip?

I would love to explore the South Pacific someday

Obviously, this isn’t everything to know about Chelsea, but it’s definitely a nice start. Chelsea does amazing work and we are beyond happy that she is part of our team. Her commitment to her patients is amazing and her work ethic is second to none. And now when you see her next, you can strike up a fun conversation about traveling, the pacific northwest or about raising chickens in Sammamish :)
